Tim Latimer is the co-founder of Fervo Energy. Fervo commercializes technology to develop, own and operate geothermal assets as the foundation for a 100% clean energy future.
Latimer was previously a drilling engineer with BHP where he worked in the Permian and Eagle Ford basins. With a growing appreciation of climate change’s urgency, he left the petroleum industry in 2015 to pursue an MBA/MS in Environment and Resources from Stanford University, where he launched Fervo Energy.
He is a Fellow at Cyclotron Road, the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Energy honoree. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa and is a native of Texas.
