ROBERT SMITH

Robert Smith is a host of NPR’s Planet Money, a podcast that tells fascinating stories about the global economy. He served as lead editor for the podcast and was part of the team that won a Peabody Award for the investigation into Wells Fargo bank. Over the last 30 years, Smith has done just about every job in public radio including reporter, producer, editor, and news director. He’s spent most of his career at NPR, but also worked at various public radio stations in the West, including KUER at The University of Utah. Smith also teaches radio and podcasting at Columbia Journalism School and Princeton.
